Some General Liability policies include automatically or depending on the industry will exclude a coverage called “Products and Completed Operations”… Here is a little bit of info regarding that coverage and if your policy should carry it or not…

• Products and completed operations is the bodily injury and property damage section of a liability policy.
• Products and completed operations insures a policyholder specifically against BI and PD claims for damages resulting from negligence associated with businesses that manufacture something or sell a tangible product or good.
• It is important to note that these coverage types are in effect when a product leaves your premises.
• Neither Products or Completed operations coverage is extended to you or your employees. Employees are covered by workers compensation insurance.

Having reviewed those basic points– weather you are a knife or vitamin manufacturer, if you make blow dryers or railings for staircases… it is a wise decision to have this coverage on your liability policy. As we reach our 3rd year here in this location in Sunrise, it’s pretty bittersweet! It’s been a great three years. We’ve laughed, cried, and laughed some more… but now we are finally moving! We bought an office… still near by… don’t panic! We haven’t completely left the area. We will keep you posted with pics of our move and when we are officially in our new location!
